It's time for me to give you another Special Update for the upcoming West Texas Book & Music Festival that is coming around in September. Last week I gave you an overview of the festival in general, and this week I'll be telling you about two of the biggest events for the festival with the Texas Cookbook Gala (which always sells out each and every year) and then the Boots & Books Luncheon, honoring children's author Kathi Appelt with the 2009 A.C. Greene Award. Check it out.
